Buga Press 2814
Membrane vacuum press for thermoforming and woodworking
The membrane vacuum press allows for the application of uniform pressure using a membrane vacuum for shaping complex parts. It is a versatile solution for joinery, woodworking, and veneer fabrication, as well as for thermoforming solid surfaces and thermoplastic materials.
Thermoforming of solid surfaces and thermoplastic materials
The Buga Press 2814 is designed for thermoforming solid surfaces such as Corian®, Krion®, and other similar materials. The system allows for precise, pressure-controlled shaping of parts on molds.
Furthermore, it is suitable for the manufacture of sinks, countertops, curved cladding and other three-dimensional pieces used in commercial and residential projects.
Applications in cabinetmaking, wood and veneers
The press is ideal for woodworking shops that work with thermoformable woods, veneers, and laminated panels. It allows for bending, cladding, and shaping operations with uniform pressure, improving the quality of the finish and the repeatability of the process.
Thanks to the membrane vacuum system, pressure is distributed evenly across the entire surface of the workpiece. This facilitates working with thermoformable woods and veneers in applications requiring precision, mold fit, and a consistent finish.
Technical characteristics
It is composed of three elements: a flat, sturdy worktable,a membrane frame resistant and elastic, and a vacuum pump powerful and capable of exerting a pressure of up to 9 tons.
Our 18 mm HPL worktable ensures a balanced and reliable vacuum distribution. The vacuum press for bending solid surfaces is manufactured in two sizes and allows for the adaptation of membranes of various heights for thermoforming parts. molds up to 900 mm highThe press can support a total weight of up to 1000 kg in the center of the table.
Performance and productivity
With a manufacturing rate of approximately 15 minutes per 10mm thick thermoformed part, the Vacuum Press for Curving Solid Surfaces is an effective and efficient tool for producing high-quality parts.
